Eventful Start for 2019 – Welcoming the New Year
The new year at Altizon has begun with a bang. Our leadership team made strides at various events. Here is a quick summary of our January events.
1. Altizon CEO Launches Smart Manufacturing RoI Almanac
Two years back we launched our very first Smart Manufacturing Report through which we shared our experience of which problems IoT can best solve and what benchmark one can look at for their IoT projects. This report was very positively received by the customers, analysts, and the industry as a whole. Taking the clue from that, we launched our most awaited Smart Manufacturing RoI Almanac 2019. Mr. Vinay Nathan, CEO and Cofounder Altizon officially launched it at IoT Evolution Expo in FL, the USA where he was invited to share his thoughts on future of sensor technology and roadmap for digital transformation.
We expect that the new Smart Manufacturing RoI Almanac will help Industry stakeholders to understand different IIoT use cases and benchmark their IoT projects in general.
2. Doing IoT The Righ Way
Altizon COO and co-founder Mr. Yogesh Kulkarni was one of the keynote speakers at ACMA Pune. He shared an interesting perspective on dos and don’ts for IoT initiative. He discussed, how different companies are at different maturity state and what journey they need to take for their digital transformation. Importantly, by taking an example from process industry where an IoT Project helped them reduce quality degradation, Mr. Kulkarni struck a chord with the audience on why right process, right use case, and right framework are key to successful IoT projects.
3. Why IoT Matters and Opportunities in the IoT era
When it comes to spreading awareness or educating people on IIoT, Altizon is at the forefront. Mr. Abhijit Mhetre, VP Marketing and Head of Education at two occasions shared his views on how we are moving from Internet of People to the Internet of Things and why it matters. Mr. Mhetre was the keynote speaker at Industry 4.0 event organized by D. Y. Patil Center for Management Studies and Research, Pune and later in the month he was a guest speaker at C4i4 where he interacted with invited Industry leaders.
