Dover Corporation, a global industrial conglomerate headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois, offers innovative solutions across diverse markets. Founded in 1955, the company specializes in engineered products, clean energy, identification systems, pumping equipment, and climate technologies.
As a major conglomerate with a foothold in multiple industries, Dover was facing issues in their manufacturing sites across the United States & Europe. The persistent issue of low shopfloor productivity had negatively impacted overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and profitability. Additionally, shipping delays have led to decreased customer satisfaction and disruptions in the supply chain.

The Solution
Altizon utilized Datonis EDGE to capture real-time sensor, PLC, and SCADA data from CNC machines. The DFX platform was then deployed to create user-friendly dashboards and reports for monitoring productivity, a critical area of concern.
By establishing a manufacturing data lake on AWS, Altizon facilitated real-time analytics and dashboarding, providing clients with a visually appealing and informative data platform for decision-making.
In total, Altizon connected 300 machines across 17 plants worldwide, encompassing various manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, CNC machining, compression molding, and testing.
